Schlemmer's Daughter (2018)

I created this performance in anticipation of the 100th Anniversary of Bauhaus. A tribute to Oskar Schlemmer's "Triadic Ballet" - the groundbreaking avant-garde work that pushed dance into the age of modernism - Schlemmer's Daughter is an exploration of human interaction in geometric form. The two-hours performance delves into social relationships from a perspective of the two conflicting fundamental human needs we all carry: independence and belonging.
