Five painters from Tigullio have participated in Yana Schnitzler's "Human Kinetics" collaborative project. Based in New York City, this internationally renowned, award-winning performance artist reached out to various artists around the world and asked them to send her a piece of cloth or paper with written or painted text expressing their personal feelings about what it means to be a woman. The collection will be part of a single exhibition in a major art gallery in New York and will also be featured in a live performance of Schnitzler's at another venue in the city. The five artists from Tigullio that contributed are Antonella Tiozzo, Maria Cristina Rumi, Federica Papapietro, Giovanna Cademartori and Roberta Baiardi. Of particular interest is the use of Lorsica Damask in the works of Rumi and Tiozzo.
